Te Ūnga Mai is a Charitable Trust formed by a diverse group of passionate people committed to creating innovative educational experiences. Our main focus is on heritage education, in particular focusing on the heritage landscapes of Tūranganui ā Kiwa and the Tairawhiti.

The Trusts Patron is Dame Anne Salmond. The Trustees, Richard Brooking, David Langford, Joseph Martin, Peter Moeau, Lisa Maniapoto, Wirangi Pera and Michael Spedding, represent a broad cross section of the community, and collectively bring strength and passion to a very important kaupapa.
